It has some short comings but overall it's a pretty good game.
Game Play: You run around in the real world as Lan Hikari, an 11-year-old, boy collecting battle chips and doing jobs for your friends. In the Internet you play as Mega Man seeking out and destroying enemy navis and viruses. While you are running around (in the internet) the screen will flash white and you’ll be thrown into battle against a virus. This usually happens every 1-2 minutes while in the Internet. When in battle you select a series of battle chips (weapons) and use them along with your mega buster (basic hand gun) to delete your enemies. One new addition from the past MMBN games is the Navi Customizer. It allows you to program special abilities into Mega Man that he will automatically get to use in battle.
Violence: In the game you fight a large array of enemies most of which are somewhat robotic. One major fact that tones down the violence of MMBN3 is the fact that you aren’t fighting people, your “deleting” computer viruses. When destroyed they simply blow up in a cloud of smoke.
Adult Content: The words stupid an idiot are referenced once in the game. Also, in one of the beginning levels when Mega Man levels up for the very first time he exclaims “What the?!?!,” but past that nothing more is said.
Christian Rating/Spiritual Content: In one level you go to an island called Hades Isle and is meant to look scary, but it is really just a set for a TV show. Mega Man Battle Network 3 is a very fun game. It does have it’s short comings, but all in all it’s a great game. I would recommend it for any one who likes RPGs and long story lines.
