Does mixing Mega Man, and an RPG work?
Graphics: The graphics are as good as the Gameboy Advance would allow. The game looks great. The colorful visual style really helps to show that you are actually playing a Mega Man game. Not a bland texture in sight! 10/10
Story: The story begins as a boy named Lan Hikari gets woken up by his NetNavi, Mega Man. He does the regular thing that people do when they go to school. Get dressed, eat breakfast, etc. He goes to school and learns how to bust viruses. The story unfolds from here, on in. 10/10
Controls: The controls are very solid. You move around on a 6x3 grid. You can stay on your 3x3 grid, while the enemy stays on their side. With a certain chip, you can expand the size of the grid you can stand on. 10/10
Difficulty: The game's difficulty can sometimes not divide between being hard or easy. Sometimes the game can be simple, but sometimes the game can just be way too confusing. 7/10
Overall, this game is proof that Mega Man can take almost any style of gameplay, and make it work. But this is only the beginning of what we could expect from the character we can affectionately refer to as the Blue Bomber. If you don't like this game, you either, can't beat it, or you suck at RPGs. 8.5/10 Great job, Capcom!
