The X game that was released many years after X4 and yet it's not as good. But still good.

This is a pretty decent and underrated game. I wonder why their was a huge release time gap between this and X4? This game has most features X4 had but no cutscenes which a bit of a letdown. Characters can now duck which is a plus (I wonder why they took out the duck in X8?) The difficulty in this game also seems to be downgraded from X4 since the bosses are much easier to beat here. Only The Skiver, Black Devil and Sigma's final form proves a little challenge.

The graphics in this game is almost exactly the same graphics found in X4 and X6 and they are quite good to look at with it's backgrounds but don't expect any cool 3D graphics here. The music in this game is very good too. Sometimes I just hum the music in Axle The Red's stage or Duff McWhalen's stage. And let's not forget about the cool Party music in the very last stage before you fight Sigma!

If you liked X4 then I don't see why this game would really dissapoint you. This game is easy to reccomend to Mega Man X fans especially those who loved X4.
