The next installment of the Mega Man X series continues with many of the other installment's virtues: clean graphics, descent soundtrack, and fluid controls. However, this game seems to be lacking. This game doesn't really standout from other Mega Man X games. The story is pretty bland and predictable. The last levels of the game are quite unimaginative as the background is the same pattern, but different colors. But what really annoyed me was when Alia would always try to contact you as you progress through a level. It's quite distracting. Another thing, who picked the names to these bosses (Duff McWhalen?)? A good time can be had by this game, but don't expect a lot.
