THIS GAME IS HARD!!!

User Rating: 9.2 | RockMan Zero 2 GBA
When i bought megaman zero 2 i was looking for a 2d sidescroller that would acctually last more than a week and boy did i get one! i blazed through the first and second level thinking here we go again anther short gba game. Until i hit the boss, then i knew this game was what i wanted.

The overall gameplay of this is exellent it has every aspect needed to play a 2-d side scroller, you get guns then you get a sword then you get more guns then you upgrade them, can anyone ask for more?

So what is it all about? Well i have'nt played the first one but number 2 is about zero being in the middle of a war between reploids (robots) and humans he switches sides every now and then if he fancies it, so basically you have to control Zero (megaman doesn't make an appearence in this!) through some insanly intense battles through brilliantly shaded levels to in the end save the day.

Speaking of the shaded levels zero's animation is a the least ,great he moves with a magestic flow with his mega long hair in tow (only in japan) carring whatever weapon you have him equipt with, the level of detail the level on the game is brilliant such as not reveal any spoilers i will say something that doesn't have any thing to do with story, it sarts to rain halfway through level 2 the rain affects how you move, if you run towards the rain you can't go as fast but if you run with it to your back you go faster, the enemies you face in this vary from rolling cactus looking things to big locomotive stlyed robot thingies, the colour is used to present perspective and size the animation of the enemies from the bosses to the connon fodder remains outstanding lot and lots of effort was put into animating them. Another thing that is great about the game is the variety of moves the enemies have, they keep you guessing!

Now normally here i would complain about certain aspects of the game but there is only 2 things i can say: maybe there is to much unskipable text and cutscenes that has you smacking you gameboy and head! off the wall. The only other problem was there isn't enough games like this, it really is a shame but is hard to find a game like this.

Personally i would reccomend this game to anyone over 10 that owns a gameboy advance, but if your not looking for intense action frustrating difficulty and a great 2-d side scroller don't bother
