The first Mega man, and by far the hardest.

User Rating: 9 | Rockman NES
Gameplay: This game is simple, to the point, and at the same time still puts in strategy. The game begins in a hub screen, and it's the first one I can remember that EVER did that. You are poised with five purely evil looking enemies (and one that looks ridiculous) who each have their own stages. On your first time through they could beat you down before two screens. Each level is stuffed with jumping elements, and little enemies who can dodge your shots and shoot back. But because there so small you barely ever hit them. And when you reach the bosses, you are f***ed if you don't know their weakness. ??? you're thinking. I forgot to mention that every time you beat a boss you get a cool that will tear through a certain boss. After defeating all six bosses you go to the legendary Dr.WIly's castle. Well...it's not explictly staten but you are there. There are four bosses there and they are HARD. I have only beaten them without cheating once. Once.
No matter how hard, it earns a PERFECT ten.

Graphics: It has some pretty good graphics, though all of the sequels were better. It isn't great, but it isn't bad.
6/10 Fair

Sound: Wow. It has bleeps and bloops that make up 8-bit music but this is great. The music is diverse, clear, and sets a sort of "epic" mood.

Value: This game is greatly valued to me. If someone were to take this away from me nothing good would happen. A perfect ten.

Tilt: I have to say, that this is one of my favorite franchises, right next to MYST. I'm tilting to it with a 9.

Overall: If you see it in a bargain bin, at ebay, or at amazon, what ever, take out your wallet and hand over your cash. You won't blame me.
