This game was an incredible graphical marvel in its time, with awesome gameplay to back it up.

The game did a wonderful job of creating an illusion that the player was in fact, playing a game with absolutely stunning 3D graphics. Using a combination of videos taken of high polygonal realistically rendered tracks and cars, Cyro entertainment really outdid themselves and stood out in the market. Not only did the game itself look great, but the host was very entertaining. He would insult you in your failures, and praise you when you won. Very sarcastic and dry, he danced, and made crazy hand motions throughout all his amusing speech. The game play itself was very entertaining. Consisting of either blowing up your opponents via a laser cannon, or ramming them into the guardrails until they caught fire and exploded, or simply outrunning them to hell. There were a whole bunch of really detailed and very unique tracks which were fun to race on, each accompanied by bizarre but very likeable techno music. The game is a bit confusing at first, due to lack of a tutorial or explanation of the dashboard gizmos, but it is pretty easy to figure out after you’ve wasted your first one or two bad guys. Frankly, there was nothing I didn’t like about this game. I only wish for Windows XP compatibility.
