very fun 2 D fighter
the combat in the game is solid and very fast pase'ed. but it will most likley seam to eazy for the seasoned 2D gamers, but for moderate and novice players it might seem more fun then some of older games such as guilty gear, MK, and KOF,SF because its faset paced, the special attacks look great, and its eazy to preform combos, and special moves.
GRAPHICS
graphically tho the game is lacking... quit a bit. the characters graphics arent that great looking at all they really need an updated look. not to mention that if you haven seen the tukihimi anime or gotten into the story line, the characters them selfs will look boring, generic, and repetitive, not to mention most the stages them selfs aren't that great looking SOUND
the games sound track's are really good ( i even D/Led the OST i liked it so much) its got a nice mix of stuff and it suits the fighting.
VALUE the game will keep you playing for a while, if you really want to get the combo system down it will take a while for non experienced 2d fighter gamers. all the characters have a nice deap storys to them, so its wothe it to play most of there story lines through ( when the english patch comes out >_> ).The game also has a good few other modes including some new ones like team battle and tag team battle which is fun to play, but can get hectic some times. TILT
im a huge type moon fan in general so to me this game is really amazing and proves that good games can be made from anime's, im especially surprised that this one, (with some work) can join the ranks of the best 2D fighters; which is a very hard thing to do these days, with there being so many of them all ready out. all though i would actually recommend this game over games like guilty gear and mortal combat and street fighter to beginer and some moderate 2d gamesrs, because its eazy to pick up and play and have fun with. but for thoes that grew with all the other older games this one will defiantly look like it needs work done, and as a moderate 2d gamer i think it dose as well, but for all the old school 2d games who pick this one up and play it and say " this is prety crappy" just go back to all the old street fighters mortal combats and look at how much better they have gotten. this is only the second real melty blood game to come out, so give it some time, i think melty blood is going on the same road that all those others took long ago and i believe that it can pull through and eventually become a great game and all 2d fighters will need to play some day PS. i say second one because i consider RE-act the first true playable melty blood game and i prety much consider cadenza ver.B just an up grade of cadenza, so there prety much the same game to me.
