A Vietnam Game Done Right!!

I have since been searching for the Vietnam game that was easy to understand but at the same time fun to play. Well my searching has ended with the title Men of Valor for Xbox. The first thing I noticed about the game was the rich authenticate sounds of rifles, helicopters, and grenades. I’m sure the sound would be fine across a TV speaker but having surround sound makes all the difference in the world. The graphics are the other highlight of this game. The environments are very detailed and it gives you the feeling that you’re standing in Vietnam fighting along side of the Marines. The boards are fairly good size and they provide a number of covering positions during the intense firefights. The objectives of the game go along with many objectives U.S. troops had to accomplish during the Vietnam War. The AI is the game is not the best I’ve seen but it is a drastic improvement over many of the first person shooters I have played. The one negative side to the enemy AI is they will run right past and never look your way. The friendly AI does this as well at the worst possible times. Despite the minor drawbacks it is a great game that keeps you coming back for more. Highly recommended.
