Mercenaries, a very original title , aside from it playing and taking alot of its gameplay elements from the GTA series, (which isn't a bad thing) I never played a game quite like MERCS. You basically have the complete freedom to destroy, but how you "Destroy" is the fun part, because there are many ways you can complete the missions and you choose how you wanna approach certain situations. That being said you can expect many weapons and artillery that you may choose from, or stumble upon. Lets not forget the vehicles , tanks, helicopters, turret mounted hummers , the complete WORKS! Now the environments are kinda dull , and theres also enough fog around to accommodate about 5 dozen KISS concerts. But hey what can you expect your in the middle of a friggin' war zone, if you want colorfull environments go play SPYRO or something. All kidding aside now, this is a great game to own, you'll be sure to go back and play it after a while, the game is quite lengthy and you can complete it with 3 different characters you can choose from. The one thing that this game is in desperate need of is some online play, but...I guess theres always MERCS. 2
