I don't think I've had this much pure sadistic fun with a game since I played GTA Vice City. Granted, you don't get as many vehicles as the GTA francise but when you get to drive tanks, anti-aircraft rocket launchers, hueys, tomahawks, and machine gun mounted humvee's, who cares? The name of the game is DESTRUCTION, and you get to do just that by blowing up all vehicles and buildings in the game, with either some well placed C-4, rocket launchers, or by calling in a variety of air strikes, such as carpet bombings. The missions are structured in the same way as Vice City, in that you get to sign on with a variety of factions who all pay you to mess up the other factions. This creates a problem of balancing each faction and making sure no one hates you enough to start dropping artillary shells on you. The game has loads of hidden items and unlockables which gives it a high replay value. Now, granted, the last mission is by far the most diffricult level I have ever played in a game, But upon completing this last mission, you are paid 2 million dollars and you are sent back to the beginning of the game with all of your weapons and unlocked item, vehicles, and air strikes intact. This is when The Playground of Destruction really begins and it is an absolute blast! Pick up this game and I'm sure you'll agree.
