This is a fun game, and I picked up a copy a while ago, and is now in my top 5 favorite PS2 games. You can choose from 3 players, but it has no affect other than how you look and sound in gameplay. You are in a war of factions, sound familiar? They make it with an entirely new twist. You have a faction bar which you have to keep level for each (which can start to get hard) or they will turn hostile, which is not good. On top of that you have to assassinate 52 leaders that are wreaking havoc in war filled areas. A tip right here, if you are going to choose to be a maniac like I did, and only keep one faction, keep the Russians. Even though they do have a Command Post, they (unlike the other factions) are spread through the entire map, and it is annoying and difficult to be walking along and get hammered by gunfire. When in trouble you can hop into a car and be disguised as whatever faction it represents, unless it is like a convertible, then you are a civilian. You can call in air strikes, vehicles, and weapons at your disposal, but it feels the same. After I beat the game the only thing left to do was use cheats, but that got tiring, it is great though. If you are a hardcore gamer but aren't yet allowed to that GTA style gaming, this is your next bet.
