Metal Arms is one of those games that just appears on the scene next to lots of big games and goes pretty much unnoticed. Even thoguh this game is great, it does not get nearly as much respect as it deserves because nobody has ever heard of it. That being said, lets get this review going Metal Arms' sound is really the worst thing about the game and it is not really bad, but it is not noticeable enough that it should get special recognition. The sound effects however, are right on key and sound what they should sound like and make noice when they are supposed to make noice. The robots also have very nice and funny voices the best one being Dan Castellaneta who also plays the voice of Homer Simpson, is the cursing doctor who gets frequently bleeped out by the game which is very funny. The rest of the voice acting is done very well and is very funny. The graphics are phenomenal and in my opinion, the coolest thing is that when you kill the robots and they explode but always in a different way and sometimes you can shoot off their arms and they can still function minus one arm of course. All of the worlds are very well detailed and the vehicals and weapons are also very nice looking. The robots all have very full lifelike movements and everything in the game looks just beautiful. The multiplayer is a lot of fun and the stage Matt's big gun fun is the best one in the game. You can do in multiplayer pretty much anything you could do in one player mode. There are many different modes to choose from and if you don't like any of them, then you can make up your own which is pretty cool. The only other thing that you can do to change how the game is that you can choose what color you are which is small but worth mentioning. The gameplay goes pretty much like most third person shooters except for the fact that since you are robots, you can hack into your enemies using your tether line so that you can actually play as your enemies. And as the enemie you can choose to go places that you coulde'nt go as Glitch or even start killing all of your enemie couterparts. But the computer with the great AI it has will figure you out if you just start killing and kill you in order to put you to rest. The weapons are also preety cool and you will have real things like a rocket launcher or granades and then you will get totally made up things like the rivit gun and scatter blaster. You can also upgrade your weapons 2 times to make them more powerful and cooler looking. The levels have very wide ranges and are very easy to so hard you want to rip out the eyesballs of an innocent puppy. The game is very hard to beat and you will need to put many more hours into it then your average 3rd person shooter. So in short, buy, buy, buy because this is a great game that nobody knoes about but is a worthy game that will keep you and your friends happy for months to come.
