A better sequel to an already brilliant game.

When the first Metal Gear game came out, it became one of the most innovative games around. Hideo Kojima made a great game, but let's face it, it had some flows. It was the first game of its kind, it couldn't have been perfect. But Kojima didn't settle for that, it was a perfect game he wanted, and a perfect game he got: Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.
The game was better than the original in every aspect, Kojima retained the same basic structure and gameplay, but improved upon it tremendously.
It became much easier to move the character around and maneuver the soldiers and guards. You had the ability to lie on the ground, hide under vehicles and cross under fences. You could really feel it was a stealth game, since you had many ways to hide & fool the guards.
The characters & environments were more detailed. The story retained many themes from the original, but was more developed and dramatic.
The game's difficulty was also much improved from the original, since guards won't re spawn every time you enter the same area and there was a little more ammo & rations this time around.
I can't find any fault in this game, it had the right combination of excellent storytelling, innovative gameplay, memorable characters & music. Excellent work Hideo Kojima.
