More brilliant action from Snake
Which moves us onto the sound, in general gameplay the sound is spot on, becoming more intense in battles with realistic effects. The lack of speech from characters (there is none) is a negative point which means a lot of reading.
The gameplay is great, there are more cards to use, more items to collect and this time you seem to be encoutering a boss is nearly every room which is great, not much retracking which is so boring when you relay on movement cards to do so.
There is the typical Metal Gear humour, and a great storyline, which this time, is actually easy enough to understand and comprehend, with lots of twists along the way.
I wouldn't say the game is mega long, it took me 15 hours to complete the main game or normal mode. Of course, addicts can replay to collect cards and fight bosses again.
To conclude, Acid 2 is great if you except it for what it is, the card game, but don't expect any of the free roaming features to be included because they arn't.
Highly enjoyable.
