Doesnt seem like metal gear...........
The graphics in metal gear acid are some of the best on the psp, but they have annoying high resolution pictures for their cutscenes. The explosions, enemies, and characters look nice, but the environments usually look the same. The environments are very caved in and have limited space to move in, and they are similar at times.
The sound. There is no voice acting in Acid, which is dissapointing because there is really no reason why. The music however is very nice and appropriate.
The gameplay. You use cards, it is used pretty well but its tough. Acid loses points for not deeply explaining the difficult mechanics, they explain very briefly and isnt very useful. You mostly have to get used to whats going with how you use cards, and sometimes you will get lost. The cards make the game very slow pace since its turn based. The effects of each card varies and are pretty well done. Sometimes its impossible to pass a level without getting caught or dying.
The gameplay works for its concept, but using the metal gear atmosphere and style makes it seem bad. For people that havent played metal gear solid will like this game, but people who are fans will be dissapointed that you are locked in.
Its a good game but its not metal gear. You may have realized there was no story in the review, its because i havent finished the game, for my own reasons.
