Unbiased Review of Acid
Graphics: Surprisingly the graphics for at least when taken into consideration the time this was released at lauch hold up suprisingly well explosions and that sort of thing look good the cards and game art (ie character designs.) as a whole has an Ashley Wood touch to it.
but for the good there is also some bad. The textures of the models when up close dont look nearly as good. Not to say they are horrid or bad but outside of the main character concentration the designs seem dull. one other problem with the graphics are the color scheme of choice is alot of grays and dark colors so ya got to turn the brightness up all the way. Score: 9
Sound: Not really much to say here While the fact they dont have any voice acting what soever does heavly detract from the game. It can not be the determining factor. For what there is of sounds gunshots, explosions and music. they are your decent not good not great however the explosions do have the kinda nice extra boom so it seems.

Gameplay: Well with alot of cards to collect and what not for those who like to collect things the gameplay has alot to offer in a that variety. However for those strategy gamers out there this game will fit your build to as everything is tied directly to the cards from movements to actions with each card having a different action possible this adds a very strategic element that hasent been in the metal gear series. But with the slower pacing of the game it also makes it harder for some people to get into along with the steeper learning curve but the time spent is worth it.
Value: If your a metal gear fan go pick it up for like 15-20 bucks at eb or gamestop or whatever game store you shop at. so while this game is definately not for everyone i would highly recommend it to people who like the strategy elements in their game play along with metal gear solid fans.
