My honest opinion about the game.

Metal Gear Rising is what Ninja Gaiden 3 should have been. Fast paced, over the top action and gory. Metal Gear Rising is one of this generations greatest hack and slash games. Now some of you will disagree with that. But this is my opinion. Some people would complain about the dodging mechanic. How hard is it? It's simple as hell. Just press X and A at the same time. I saw 1 review about the game complaining about the dodge mechanic. And there is 1 review where the person complains about there are no tutorials. Did he not see the option of doing the tutorial at the beginning of the game? The parry mechanic takes some time to get used to. But becomes extremely easy later in the game. Now people compare this game to DmC Devil May Cry. Please stop. Metal Gear Rising is 10x better than DmC in every way. DmC is still a good game though. The stealth in this game is a bad addition to the game. It should have left the stealth to Metal Gear Solid. The graphics are good. I don't really care about the graphics in games. But it's got some good graphics. The gameplay is GREAT. Slicing your enemies apart like he's a fruit? It's smooth and fluid. The story isn't great, but it's a good one. It's not like Metal Gear Solid's story. But it's an okay story. And I have to mention the soundtrack. The music hitting the right moment when starting the boss fight? Amazing. If you're wanting a good hack and slash game, get this one. Trust me. It's worth it. But if you don't, try out the demo.
