if you've never played a MGS game before, this is a good place to start.

MGS substance is probobly one of the best PS2 games ever. and as much as you guys may think that thats not saying something, it is saying something. The gameplay in the game is pretty much flawless, although at times, it really feels more like a run n gun action game than a stealth action game. The graphics, considering it is on the aged PS2 console is also remarkable. The sound of the game also is simply incredable. From the time you watch the opening sequence with the MGS theme song to the time you beat the game, this game will keep you at the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. if you in any way, shape or form like the MGS series, this is a must have. even if you haven't played the MGS series, this game DEFINITLY deserves at least a rent.
