Metal Gear Solid becomes a series with this mind blowing sequel!

Metal gear Solid has been created for quite a lot of years now. The series, goes back long than you might think. But the first Metal Gear game that really blew everyone away was the playstation version ' Metal Gear Solid '. It combined, a great storyline with fantastic action to create a game like no other! A few years past and Konami created the sequel, and what a sequel it was! It's created for the PS2, and the PC. It has a brand new storyline, great new characters and since it's the PS2, the graphics have been bumped up alot! Here is my review of Metal Gear solid 2; Gameplay - 10 / 10 The gameplay in Metal gear solid 2 is unlike any game I've ever played before. It has one of the most exciting story lines ever to be announced onto the PS2. It includes quite a few of the original games characters, such as the hero 'Solid Snake', but it also has a few new characters! There are more advanced moves, and weapons to keep you lasted for ages! Graphics - 10 / 10 The graphics compared to the original metal gear solid game are so much more advanced. The original was on the Playstation, and this game is on the Playstation 2. You now get to see the hero in the game, like no other! The game actually revolts around the graphics. For example, / SPOILER In the first part of the game, you enter a ship and to see if there are any guards around the corner, you can see a shadow move, so you know where to go next! / END SPOILER Sound - 9 / 10 The sound in the game is also fantastic, but the best part about the sound in the game is the music. It sounds just right for the enviroment that your in. If your in a gun battle, the music changes to a jumpy tune, whereas if your just walking around silently the music is much more calmer than normal. The characters in the game sounds pretty good, each with thier own little personalities. And the weapons such very realistic! Value - 10 / 10 This game is fantastic, and if your after an action game with some sneaking around, this game is a must! The great thing about this game also, is you dont have to play the original game to 'get' the storyline of the 2nd game! Overall - 9.6 / 10 ( Superb ) Overall this game definatly stands up to what it should be, a fantastic action shooter! Combining a great storyline, action, characters and a few funny bits, this is a game for the history books! I recommend this game to appsolutly anyone, because this game is has a little bit of every genre in it! Thanks for reading, Marky
