Gaming at it's finest

User Rating: 9.4 | Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (Mega Hits!) PS2
Gameplay:
All I have to say is that Hideo Kojima is a genius. Metal Gear Solid returns on the PS2 with not only the same style of gameplay found in MGS on PS1, but with improvements. With new features, such as being able to hang from ledges, a first person view/shooting perspective, and stealth options, MGS2 perfects the formula of what was already a masterpiece of gameplay. The only beef I have with this game is that you play as Solid Snake for too short of a time. Less than halfway through, you take over Raiden (of course there are story purposes), but Raiden is just not an interesting character really. Lame.

Graphics:
Amazing. Some of the best looking graphics the PS2 has to offer, or that any system has to offer really.

Sound:
Great voice acting returns, incredible musical score, and terrific sound effects. Yay for Metal Gear.

Replay:
With new features like being about to collect dog tags and new items to unlock, you'll play MGS2 over and over again.

Overall:
A must play/own for any PS2 owner. MGS2 is what true gaming is. With incredible gameplay, a fantastic set of characters, a deep story, and overall pure geniusness put into the game, MGS2 falls into the catergory of one of the best games to ever grace the video game world.
