It's been almost 5 years, and I still love playing this game.

User Rating: 9.8 | Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (Mega Hits!) PS2
To put it bluntly, you need to play this game. It dominates over most PS2 games to date. Graphics: 4.5/5 - Simply breath taking visual displays. The reflection of light given on various suits such as Snake, Raiden, or Solidus is even better then the 2004 hit Twin Snakes. I'd give it a perfect 5, but the eyes of enemies looked like they were drawn on, not to mention that odd head bopping characters do when they speak.

Sound: 5/5 - Music is perfectly composed by Harry Gregson - WIlliams. Each track matches the environment of various levels perfectly. And the music in the final level was both somewhat scary and simply breath taking, mixed together in the best possible way.

Gameplay: 5/5 - Yes, I said it. Those who said that Raiden was a poor choice of character need to grow up. Yes, he's somewhat girly, but he grows out of it after a while. The gameplay also really works well with stealth, since you have to hide bodies after you kill them, or when fighting a massive horde of soldiers. Stealth is simply crucial if you want to stay alive in this game. And believe me, that's a VERY good thing. Storyline: 5/5 - This is FAR better then the first Metal Gear game. Simply amazing storyline, one which you'll love to both follow, and how to see in the next MGS games.

Overall: 9.9/10 A simple classic which you must own.
