This game is considerably different from previous MGS games. Leave it to Hideo Kojima to take gamers on a twisting and turn surprise after another. What makes this game so appealing, apart from other stealth action games like Splinter Cell, is that the action and plot are so over the top, but it somehow works.

Gameplay isn't terribly different from the previous incarnation of MGS. Story line is dated in the 1960s and so the action takes place in a jungle. The tension is definitely present in this game, especially when you have to fight "The Pain." In any case, gamers and fans of this game and genre will appreciate this game.
