The latest of the metal gear franchise, and to some, the greatest. Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater recaps on the significant story of Big Boss A.K.A. Naked Snake, the character who you control throughout the game. As soon as you fire up the game you notice its beautifully detailed scenery and luscious foliage, and realise that if you remain still for long enough, snake actually begins to become more difficult to spot amongst the branches, trees, moss, mud and grass of the jungle which leads me onto one of the games next strong points. Camouflage. In previous metal gear games you were required to either avoid your enemies or kill them before they kill you, the latter remains in play in MGS3 but you'll find yourself enthralled with the games unique and brilliantly organised camoflage system, by combining the correct colours with the appropriate surroundings, snake can become almost invisible to the enemy allowing for all sorts of mischief and fun to take place.
The action in MGS3 is still as frantic as ever and Snake now has so extra nifty CQC moves to add to his repertoire. All in all MGS3 is a thoroughly enjoyable game and a must for fans of the franchise and action/stealth games everywhere
