That is, players will be able to conceal themselves by the use of disguise, protective coloring, or garments that blends in with their surrounding environment. Jungle survival plays a significant role in completing Metal Gear Solid 3. When wounded in battle, players heal injuries through an array of items such as bandages, disinfectant, sutures, including splints for fractured bones. In addition, players can regain stamina by collecting edible vegetation such as fruits and, by slaughtering animals like snakes and frogs. Hand-to-hand combat is another feature that makes this game exciting. Tekken fans will definitely feel at home with a number of moves executable through manipulating a combination of buttons and analog stick on the Playstation 2 gamepad. Once players have completed this game, they'll want to play over and over, since there are a number of unlockable items and items that they may have missed along the way (refer to the official guide which is sold separately). Also, if players have skipped cut-scenes at the heat of excitement, they'll be able to appreciate this game even more through watching the cinematics which are sometimes dramatic and sometimes hilarious. Metal Gear Solid 3 is a game that will surely click even with gamers new to the series. Due to the enormous success of MGS3, Konami, the game's developer, announced that Part 4 is scheduled to be released in late 2006.
