Probably one of the best games out there
Graphics--this came out in 2004 and it probably has the best graphics for ps2 rivaled by no one but resident evil 4 (ps2 platform only)-
Cinemas-- Probably once again the best cutscenes overall--rivaled by no one--nothign comes close to the dialogue of the story. If konami put all the cutscenes into a dvd and played them tht would make a best seller right there!!! :-D
Gameplay--new gameplay now. Liek metal gear solid 2 your still sneaking and stuff. but this time theres no radar. Yep thts right np radar. the point of the game is to stalk your enemies while not being seen and than soem how kill them or knock them out silently. Soemtimes a battle isnt avoidable so u have a wide variety of weapons to use against your enemies. To sneak up towards your enemies without being seen is easier sed than done. You have to use camoflage (did i spell tht right) to blend in with the enviroment and get closer and closer to the enemy without beign seen. When your injured u have a everythign u need to heal yourself. The healign process is pretty detailed and complicated at first. but as the game goes on it grows on you.
Story-- liek i sed i cant really explain the whole story of this game becuz than i woudl have to go onto all the other games snake was in. Lets ut it this way snake is sent on a mission to save this guy captured to create this big thing tht would pretty much be indestructable. tht leads him toward his old teacher who is on the enemies side thus being berayed snake is sent n a nother mission to rescue the same guy because well he fail the first. than it lead him to his teacher again. and a bunch of other people tht have abnormal powers. ...its all based around WWII i think (havent played it for a while)
Overall--everythign is pretty much perfect now. at a price of $20 if u dotn have this game u should get it. but i suggest u play the previous games before this one to understand snakes background more. Anyway graphics,sound, gameplay--everythign is the best of the best. One of thge best games created Hideo kojima has really out doen himself in this one u shoudl get it.
