Masterful! Everything about the game is easily the best work Kojima-san has ever done! Bow down before Kojima-san!

Best in series? uhh.....yeah! Kojima san has out done himself. Once again we're not really playing as Solid Snake, but Big Boss is noone to mock. heheheh. The storline here is easily the deepest, and makes the most sense of any game in the series (yes, it's even better than Metal Gear Solid). The gameplay takes all the best from previous installments, and does it all better. The awkward aspects of MGS2 are gone, leaving a refined uber-adventure, that no other stealth title can touch (hahahahah- sam fisher)!

The unlockables and secrets are here in spades too. The cast of characters and voiceover actors are superb. To this day when I watch Family Guy and the lady news anchor comes on, I just think, "Tee hee, that's the voice of -The Boss-!"

Snake Eater explains all the little nuances that left us scratching our heads at the and of 'Sons of Liberty', though it manages to leave many important questions unanswered for the next installment.

Bottom line: Own this or have it own you, but either way you should have it.
