Amazingly good !! earns its place in my list of top 10 games of all time !!
for those who have played mgs snake eater, subsistence's story line is exactly the same as before. but what makes the new subsistence a must-buy and great is the new default gamer which makes it more like a third-person shooter game. this camera angle is a great addition to the previously on-the-top camera perspective of old episodes. the new camera angle gives you more control on the environment by you being able to see what is in front of you in comparison with the previous ones where you would just walk blindly to an enemy if you are not a fond user of the R1 button.
besides that, the great bonuses and online modes in the extra cd are great. the duel with the game bosses is fun and can serve as a good competition between friends on how well you will score in defeating the bosses. the extra cd also contains lot of fun video parody of the actual games which will make your stomach churn with laughter. another excellent addition in this bonus cd is the online play... amazing !
for those who have not tried any metal gear games before, you should try this one ! its amazingly good and will instantly, i guarantee, make you fall in love with this series. if you are tired of the long hours of gameplay, listening to the codec conversations between snake and his aides can be fun and humourous. the bosses' battles are fantastic especially The End. there are so many memorable scenes from the game eg the runway chase , the sexy eva cutscenes where you have to quickly press R1 just not to miss out on her good 'assets' and of course the conclusion of the game.
i got a suggestion to make to KONAMI, remake metal gear solid and metal gear solid-sons of liberty with the new camera angle . it will definitely sell!!
