This is the greatest video game ever created...as of yet. Just wait for MGS4!

I was just lucky enough to buy a PS2 right after this game came out, because if I didn't, I would never have experienced the greatest game to ever be developed. I can't believe I haven't posted a reveiw until now, because I always talk about this damb game. I am a true MGS fan, and own every solid game to date, so take my word for it, this is the best of the series as of now. Perfect game in my opinion, with no flaws that I can see. This game, if you've played any other MGS game in the series, is a story about a legendary and tragic hero called Snake, who fights for good and sacrifices himself for the mission. Unlike the others before it, it does not cover the exploits of Solid Snake, but rather chronicles the early life, and first mission of "Naked Snake", A.K.A. BIG BOSS! So in other words, you get to see (and play) Solid's father in action, before he became the leader of Outer Heaven (setting of the first game, for all you non-MGS lovers) and a legendary mercenary. It actually shows the true side of the man, and makes you understand why he did what he did in the first game (I won't spoil it for you, but I'll give you a hint. It involves a government conspiracy).
I have also played MPO (Metal Gear Solid:Portable Ops), and I should tell you, this is a much better MGS game. But, if you have a craving for MGS on the go, then MPO is a close rendition of this amazing title(not the same game though). If you would like to hear more about MPO, check out my review of it right here on Gamespot.
