I love the metal gear solid series and have been an avid follower since the start. The thing about this game that struck me was the graphics and the gameplay. I didn't think that they could get that much more out of the PS2 but it has reached its peak with this game. The storys in the MGS series have been breath taking and this one does not disapoint. Set as a precall to the earlyer metal gear games this game has pushed out a lovely script that fans will enjoy. The gameplay is very good with the new CQC moves that make you want to fight hand to hand and not run away. The open levels could have been bigger in some parts but it was a good effort to set the game in the jungle. Thats what makes this game fun, being in the jungle and taking your surroundings into consideration. If i run will the guards see me , will i leave foot prints if iwalk through the mud. Those are the kind of things you have to take into consideration when you play this game. Though i thought hideo was going to carry on witht the story of the patriots. I think it was a good move to leave that game for the next generation of consoles. Thanks for reading. Cooper182
