Not just "Solid", METAL GEAR Solid.

User Rating: 9.7 | Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (First Print Limited Edition) PS2
OK. Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. Review. Gotcha. Anyways, I'm gonna rate this game by categories...

Gameplay: Far by one of the best gameplay's I've ever seen. Probably one of the first games (Unless other MGS games allow you to do this) that let you shoot down animals and eat them as food. Feeding the Main Character, Naked Snake. Excellent gameplay, but...it can get a LITTLE repetetive and stuff...so... a 9/10 for this category. Just a little. It probably won't matter to you die-hard MGS fans though.

Graphics: Man, I thought Konami was a pretty average company, seeing how they sponser "Yu-Gi-Oh!" games. But, I didn't know they made the Metal Gear Solid series. I didn't know this company could overtake Square Enix in graphics! Truly amazing. These graphics are enough to look real. Square Enix had good graphics, but only because the CGI animation looked even more realistic, but the Gameplay Graphics looked average. Anyways, um, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence by far has the BEST graphics ever put into a tiny little Playstation 2 disc. Man. So...detailed and such. Graphics, definently 10/10. If I could, it'd be 99999999999/10!

Sound: The best sound ever, too. There's not much music in the game, though. Even though, it doesn't need music because it's a stealth game. You need to hear as much as you can. Anyways, the sound, doesn't ALWAYS include the soundtrack. The Snake Eater song was a little boring, but everything else sounds so realistic...like when you kill a dog in this game, it actually sounds like a dog dying! How fun! You get to kill a dog without having to break any partial laws! ^^ The sound category gets a 10/10.

Value: Even if you have Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, this is still a must-buy. An all new 3-D third person camera, better graphics, a second disc containing more stuff, like a Secret Theater, the imports of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, those old never before released in the US games, Online mode in the second disc, and two all new levels of Snake vs. Monkey, thanks to the SCE again! Konami and SCE makes a great team. Value, definently a 10/10. In fact, you can even sell your old Snake Eater game for cheap to somebody, like your friend or online, because this game includes the full Snake Eater game, no changes in the storyline whatsover. Still got that Ocelot guy. He's cool.

Tilt: I thought it was a very good game. Shooting people up, and especially this one boss called The Sorrow, and the game actually records how many, which kinds of people, and HOW you killed them even. You know, if you slit their throat, it would show the Slit Throated guy!

Overall: 9.7. Such a good game. Anyways , I guess the 9/10 Gameplay was the thing that kept this amazing game from a full 10. Konami maybe shouldn't have made the gameplay so, how you say, the same, like, kill this guy, then kill that guy, and even when it tells you you can't get seen by the enemy, you can get seen by the enemy, nothing will happen! No Game Over, Mission Failed, or SNAKE IS DEAD: TIME PARADOX or anything. Unless you die during the fight, that is. Just kill the guy. Nothing will happen. No GAME OVER. You must all be saying, "ENOUGH WITH YOU FREAKN' LOUD-TALKING MOUTH!" So...this is the end of my review. Bye, I guess. Oh, and... the torture scene through the game is not suitable for younger kids. Even older kids will shake a little as the torture goes on. I mean, I was shaking a bit. Blood can be toggled on or off, of course. Metal Gear Online is cool. Oh, and there's a facepaint that looks like Raiden, just in case for all you Raiden haters. He's not gay, seriously. Check out the secret theater, under the movie "Metal Gear Raiden: Snake Eraser" and see what I mean...
