When you look at this review you probably think that I'm another Metal Gear Solid fanboy and I shouldn't be trusted. Well, I am a Metal Gear fan-boy but I give honest reviews so just hear me out. The game is set in the 60's(the Cold War) and see's you playing in the jungle(most of the time anyway). You play as Naked Snake aka. Big Boss who must save the world from World War 3 and stop a Metal Gear(a type of tank which can fire nuclear missiles) from being completed. Now I won't bore with the details of the story but I will say that it keeps you engrossed in the game and like any Metal Gear Solid game, there are lots of twists in the story. The gameplay is similar to the other Metal Gear Solid games(which is good) apart from some differences. You now more control of the camera, making it easier to see when hiding behind walls. The radar from the other games are gone, making the game a tad harder than usual. The major difference is the stamina bar. This just means that you need to eat every so often so Snake can be the best he can be otherwise he will find it hard to perform some actions. Another difference is the use of the camoflauge system. This is basically wearing different costumes/uniforms so that Snake can blend into his surroundings, making it hard for enemies to see him. Graphics wise this game produces some extraordinary stuff. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between real-life and polygons. This game will keep going till the end and once you've finished you can always play it again on a harder difficulty setting or play some of the extra modes(Snake vs. Monkey) This is an amazing game which you will be proud to keep in your collection.
