metal gear solid does some new things and does them well. the best in the series and a must buy.

if you dont like to read skip to the summery. a new mgs which people doubted and didnt think would last against san andreas, well guess what you people? you were wrong! this game is better then it and turns out rivitive and great with its story and originality. i can say this is the best ps2 game i've seen in 2004. but lets talk about gameplay. its same mechanics of mgs2 exept now you hunt for food and have to camaphlauge yourself. while all this works the radar makes it a little bit slower than orevious titles but still works. now you can cross territories and they can still be on alert there. the sound and voices is a no S*** thing. the music is in the caliber of halo 2 and final fantasy. the graphics hold up well in all respects even for a few little problems it wont ake me dumb it down for that at all. the only real problem i have is the value. while its fun to get unlockables they mostly wear off after a little while and do much. while the monkey thing is there there isnt that much to do which is a problem that i have with the other ones is the replay value, but the games length is pretty long and enjoyable. overall this is a title that shouldnt be passed up. the summery th good: graphics and sound blend well together as well as the solid "(snake)"(those who played 2 know what im talking about) gameplay work fluidly. the bad: i wish there was some more replay value then there was. the enemies can be mowed down easily. overall: a game ps2 owners shouldnt overlook and should be bought immedietly.
