An amazing achivement that any fan of video games better check out! And if you lack a PS2, this is a reason to buy one!

Words cannot describe my feelings for the MGS series. The original set a standard in which all other stealth games would be compared to, games such as 'Splinter Cell' and everyother stealth game, ever. The second MGS game brought the game to next-gen consoles and once again revitalized the stealth genre, giving it's self another branch above the rest in the stealth game tree. And in 2004 we have been given the last MGS on the current-gen console. Metal Gear Solid 3 is Hideo Kojima's masterpice and will be remembered as the best stealth game on any current gaming platform. And while this may sound a bit excesive, I can promise you this game never dissapoints, its always witty, sounds great and is amazing too look at. And for the weakest of all the current platforms, this is one of the prettiest games you will see. The graphics in MGS 3 are beyond anything you are going to see on the PS2, X-Box, GC. The game looks simply stunning, from the lush rain forest to the hardened concrete of warhouses, the games visuals never dissapoint. Frame rate never drops and the textures and backgrounds always look amazing. The sound is also on par with the graphics! A song, similar to one at the beginning of a 007 film sounds great and fits perrfectly with the games atmosphere. All the gunfire and explosions sound properly boomy, as they should, and always sounds great, no matter the situation. The gameplay is equally great, with the exception of the aging camera the game, is a lot of fun to play. You can't help but get caught up in the moment when the game is in it's final hour or so. The boss fights are memorable and some of the enviorments will absolutely stun you. In closing this is my second favorite game of the year, next to Rockstar's glorious epic GTA: San Andreas, this is a game everyone should own. It has a story like you have never seen and if you have played the games previous titles, the stories ending will blow your mind. Twist after twist, and plot turn afer plot turn will stun you as you play the game time after time because as you have probably already guessed the game has such replay value. This game is an amazing achievement that any fan of video games better check out. And if you don't own a PS2, this is as good a reason as any to buy one today!
