Metal Gear Solid 4 is not just a game, it is also a movie. That is a good thing right? Well it is in Metal Gear Solid 4. It has an amazing storyline, the best in the gaming industry(my opinion) The graphics are no less then amazing, but the gameplay does lack a bit. You can finish this game ir approximately 7 hours without video on your second play through, but it is still very, very fun! But there are not many things in some parts than just watching a video. And the online is not so great, so if your looking for online play Call of Duty 4.
The voice acting is literally good as it gets. The gameplay is very, sneaking around, sniping, boss fighting, sneaky kills etc. Thats what MGS4 is. Now many of you may be looking for answer to do buy Call of Duty 4 or Metal Gear Solid 4, both games are game of the year. But CoD4 is 2007 goty and MGS4 is 2008 goty.So lets do comparison
MGS4 story line vs CoD4 story line. Well, CoD4 really doesnt have much of an interesting story, but MGS4 does have a rich & thick plot & storyline. MGS4 can be hard to follow since you must either read the book on what happens, or play the other games in MGS series
Gameplay: CoD4 has amazing gameplay, so does MGS4 but there is not as much gameplay in MGS4 as there is in CoD4
Graphics: Metal Gear Solid 4 by far, have you watched the freakin cutscenes?There amazing, but I cant argue that CoD4 has amazing graphics as well.
Sound: Meh, both are ok, but MGS4 has a better soundtracks, and amazing voice acting.
How long will it last: CoD4 is playable for over 200 hour because of its online play, but if you dont have online,screw call of duty, and stick with MGS4.
Story mode: Metal Gear Solid 4 has a way better story mode because call of duty 4 isnt made for story mode,it is made for online play.
Online play: CoD4 has the best online play out of anygame, MGS4 online is crap compared to CoD4 online play
