Of all the games I was excited to play on Vita this was the big one. I love the MGS series and I have played all of them, yes even the ACID series for PSP. The MGS Acid games were the only ones in the MGS series that I didn't like. The HD versions, however, are great. I have not played either of these games in almost ten years so playing them again on Vita was like opening and playing the games for the 1st time all over again. The controls do take some getting used to. For example in MGS3, you flick the back of the Vita to slit throats, but hold it down to interrogate. I have had some trouble with trying to interrogate a bad guy but end of cutting his throat instead. The touch screen controls are really slick though. You can slide your finger across the screen to make Snake slide along walls and you can choose your weapon by touching the inventory boxes. The only thing missing from this great collection is Peace Walker, but I all ready own PW on regular PSP. If you have a Vita you should probably check this game out. You won't be sorry.
