ALMOST a perfect PSP game... just NO Wifi MULTIPLAYER!! WHY!?
The Good:
The story line is MUCH deeper than MGS: PO. It starts off with a nice tutorial, then gets RIGHT to the story. This is DEFINITELY better than MGS: PO. The game is over 1.3GB, showing that Hideo Kojima (who directed and helped make this game HIMSELF) took PRECIOUS time into this game. And guess what!? There is an "Extras" option under the main menu, and after signing in with my PSN account, it says there WILL be DLC available soon. GREAT news considering the fact that Kojima CUT OUT a LOT of missions from the final game... bummer. The cutscenes are JUST like MGS: PO (Portable Ops)... but better. The drawings are FANTASTIC...and some cutscenes...are interactive. But the best part is... there are over a HUNDRED side missions, including..... *cue drum roll* (Drum rolling.......)...: Monster Hunter missions... Yes, you get to fight GIANT dragon-like monsters as Big Boss (a.k.a.: Naked Snake)
The Bad:
No wifi multiplayer... Thats all! :)
As you can see. Im VERY excited for this game. I've been waiting for it for MONTHS, and it HAS lived up to its hype...except for the lack of Multiplayer... WHY Kojima? WHY!?
Anyway... This WOULD be a perfect 10/10... but the lack of multiplayer is a let down... by half a point. If youre an MGS fan with a PSP... GET THIS GAME. Even if you are not... TRY IT! It has a LONG playability time, and will keep you playin... until the end. JUST LOOK AT EVERYONE'S RATINGS! WE LOVE IT! THANK YOU KOJIMA AND KONAMI!

A LOT of people have sent messages about my review. I LOVE THIS GAME! But people are gettin worked up over the TRUTH. Ive been looking around the internet BEFORE this game was released, and there is NO ONLINE MULTIPLAYER like Portable Ops had. The ONLY way to play multiplayer is to use AdHoc Party on PS3. Truth is.. I DONT HAVE A PS3! No one around me does!

I just beat the game... wow... I raised it from a 9.5 to a perfect 10. STILL no wifi multiplayer... but the rest of the content is enough for me.... wow...
