Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Review
The story takes place some years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The story follows legendary hero Big Boss as he is captured and forced to save the world from a new breed of "walking tanks". With it brings new rivals and old foes come back to try to put and end to Big Boss.
The gameplay for this is very awkward. It doesn't feel like a true Metal Gear Solid game at all. The button layout is different compared to the other games and the new features thrown into it make it confusing. The way the story played out was kinda dull at times and never kept up a continuous stream of excitement. This game really fell short of its predecessors before it. I'm really disappointed at how this game turned out. This isn't a true Metal Gear Game, it's just some cheap knock-off.
Having said all of this the game overall was very pathetic. I know Kojima can do better than this and I hope they do in the near future. I personally love the Metal Gear Solid series so this to me was a big let-down.
