You can really tell if a game is made for a specific console, and this game is a perfect example.
The Bad:
Nothing big, but the soldiers, occasionally, can be a little dumb, which you can use that to your advantage // Controls can take a little while to get used to.
I am a newcomer Metal Gear Solid, and I am so glad I picked this up. It is simply a must-own PSP game. It would've been alot worse than it is if it were on PS2 or PS3, because they could put alot more effort into it because they only had to focus on 1 console: the PSP. This allowed them to make the best controls to suit the game and the PSP, and also the structure. The structure is changed for a portable game: the missions are alot shorter, but not too much, thankfully. You manage your recruit-ees alot after and before a mission, which is good fun. Gameplay: 9
Controls are great once you get into it. Good, new gameplay in the Campaign.
Graphics: 10
Some of then best graphics on PSP are in this game.
Sound: 10
Awesome music, full of suspense and it really gets you in the mood.
Value: 10
Long campaign, plus great online mode. What else would you want?
OVERALL: 9.5 (Not Average)
A landmark PSP game that really shows what the PSP is capable of, and it is brilliant in every aspect of the game.
