The saga makes it way to the PSP and features true MGS action...

This was and most likely for other people as well, one of the main reasons i chose to buy a PSP. For those of you who have experience with the MGS series, you will be able to jump right in and continue where MGS3 left off. One of the things im sure many vets will notices is just how close the character designs match those of MGS3 and how comparable they really are, and although there arent any CG cutscenes the art by Ashley Wood definately gives the game its own character and can stand on its own. The addition of the recruiting process works very well in this game and its always fun to go around trying to recruit more soldiers through the AP scans. You can also trade soldiers with friends through ad hoc or acquire them by defeating other players online in RC mode (real combat). I found the story to be pretty good considering there is only so much u could fit onto one UMD disc, and the characters and their voices are as always in this series, amazing. The Story truley serves its purpose by filling the player in on more of Big Boss' past and what led to the emergence of Outer Heaven and the events that took place on Zanzibar. Also characters who at first appear to be new will end up tying themselves to those we see later on in the MGS timeline. The online is fun as well although i still recomend to all of u to wait and recruit some decent soldiers as well as procuring good weaponry otherwise ull probably get trashed online especially if u dont have enough experience with the games system. In closing i definately recomedn this game to anyone who claims to be an MGS fan, it gives us insight to BB's past and also creates more interest in the end as to what may be told in the very likely sequel. For those who are new to the series i would say you should play MGS3 first just to appreciate the story more, either way its a great game and i look forward to putting bullets in your head oinline haha. Look for FIGHTERZER042, I'll be the guy staring u right in the face with an M1911A1 lol jk.
