This should have been out on release.
Gameplay: Forget the card based gameplay of Acid, this is more like the Playstation 2 installments of Metal Gear Solid than the previous handheld versions. The soldier recruitment aspect of the game is extremely addicting. My friend and I spent literally hours running around our neighborhood collecting soldiers from WiFi signals. The online is also very entertaining, but can get annoying now, since all of the codes to unlock really good characters. Graphics: The graphics are still very amazing, and they aren't quite up to par with the Playstation 2 graphics, they are better than Playstation or Nintendo 64 graphics. The cutscenes are very much a matter of opinion. The cutscenes are no longer 3D, rather hand drawn cutscenes similar to the Virtual Graphic Novel. I really love the new cutscenes. They flow nicely, and you always know what is going on.
Sound: With a good pair of headphones, the sound can be very engaging. I literally jumped out of my seat in class after I was sneaking along, and was suddenly spotted by an enemy soldier. The voice of David Hayter returns as snake, and some other voices return as well. The voices are always present, and I liked the realistic feel.
Story: The story has mixed opinions also. I liked the story, and for those of you who don't know, it takes place after the events of Snake Eater. I thought the appearance of some characters and the "OMG!" factor was really cool.
Controls: Don't worry. The controls really survive the PSP's awkward layout. You don't even notice after a while playing. There's nothing to worry about here.
Parents: This should be rated "T" there is no blood, and there is definately incentive to kill anyone. You'd rather recruit them than kill them. You may even feel sympathy for some of the soldiers as well.
