Metal Gear Solid will remain one of the best series in gaming. This collection offers MGS (the classic PS1 version, not the GC version Twin Snakes), MGS2 and MGS3. At the very low price of $30, this collection makes it easy for newcomers to the series to catch-up on the story before Guns of the Patriots is released and fans of the series can relive the nostalgia if they haven't kept their original copies (like myself).
With these 3 games, you can easily play through multiple times each game to unlock extras, making it a great value that will last gamers until MGS4. Hideo Kojima did right by his fans, giving us this collection before releasing MGS4. You would be hard-pressed to find a better value.
I would also like to add that any owner of a 20, 60, or 80 GB Playstation 3 can enjoy this collection.
