If Metal Gear Solid's poor stealth turned you off the first time around, this is for you.
It combines the brilliant and intriguing story from Metal Gear Solid 1 with the better graphics and MUCH better gameplay from Metal Gear Solid 2.
Now I will admit, the cutscenes are WAY TO OVER THE TOP. But you all must understand, those cutscenes were Kojima's fault. Originally, they were going to be just like the original, but Kojima decided that since they defied logic in MGS2, they were allowed free pass to defy physics.
And, everyone, let's look at the big picture. Twin Snakes is more fun than the original. Someone had to say it. Metal Gear Solid 1 had guards who would hunt you down until your dead, which was annoying as heck, they had infinite ammo and knew your position no matter what. The Twin Snakes at least gives you first person aiming to make sneaking easier, and makes the guards much smarter without being impossible.
And the original tried making you feel bad for killing soldiers, which made no difference to me because their bodies disappeared after killing them, in this game you have to at least try to hide them.
But like I said, the cutscenes are extremely over the top and turned me off, but the gameplay was more fluid and fun. And nothing much has changed here.
