Perhaps one of the best games ever to come to the Gamecube.
User Rating: 9.8 | Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes GC
Before March 2004, the games that were available to us older gamers on the Gamecube were very limited. But then, Komani came out with a remake of the original MGS game and called it Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. This game finally giave us older gamecubers something to look forward too. It finally came out in March 2004 and the game got some pretty good reviews. The graphics are excellent. They are way better than the original. I played the original on a demo and it looks like garbage compared to this remake of the game. The cutscenes make the game even cooler. The added gameplay features (e.g. kill someone and then hide their body) make the game more addictive to play. I also liked the fact that the guards' intelligence was dramically increased. The story to the game is cleverly written. DON'T LET ANYONE SPOIL IT TO YOU! It would just ruin the surprise. The biggest problem I had with the game (which really wasn't a big problem) was that there is much replay value. All you get is a Boss Survival Mode and a few unlockables. Despite all that, this game is truly a must have, even if you played the original version. Now I just wish they would make more Metal Gear Solid games for the Gamecube.
