I consider myself a pretty big Metal Gear Solid (MGS) fan. I have played and completed MGS 1-3 and enjoyed them all. Once I got my Wii I was really excited to play Twin Snakes. I thought the concept was great, so I quickly picked this game up. I just completed the game last night, and I was really disappointed. The graphics looked ok, but they were definitely not as good as MGS 2 or 3. In fact, I felt they were too cartoony at times. One thing that I did not expect, was for the gameplay to be poor. First of all, the Gamecube controller is terrible for this game (especially when you're used to playing these games with Playstation controllers). Another thing about the gameplay is that this game's levels were originally designed to be played with a character that could not use first-person point of view. I found that this made the game too easy (especially when it came to defeating Ocelot, for example). The worst thing about the game, in my opinion, was the new and "improved" cut scenes. All of a sudden you're seeing Snake do all these aerial Matrix moves in slow motion. I really feel as though the game designers really over-did it with these supposedly improved scenes. In conclusion, I was really disappointed in this game and would not recommend it to anyone. If you want to play this game, play the original on the Playstation.
