Gamespot think back. this game is not worth an 8.5 it's still playable today ffs lol 8.5? haha thats just taking the piss. This game was one of the best on ps1. If not, the best. MGS4 is the best game yet on PS3 BY FAR. Metal gear one was soooo much fun. It was unique and the characters were atmospheric and awsome(they still are). This game was pretty much the first to introduce stealth elements into 3d video gaming and the game did things unseen in video games upto that point. The charisma of the cast and the skript is awsome. Even though it was all set in one snowy island the game is a fresh experience and makes you want to keep playing all the way through... Classic Kojima. this game is NOT and eight point five. by any means. pure classic. In fact i'd still play it today if I had a PS1. They should release it as a classic on the PS net
