Metal Gear Solid is one of the best games to ever be made even when compared to the games of today.

Metal Gear Solid is phemnominal. It has the best ps graphics only second to final fantasy 7. Its story is hollywood quality. The gameplay is topnotch and so is the voice acting. If you were to pick up this game now in 2008 and look at the graphics you'd probablly be like how the hell did we think these were god back then, and why does that one guy that reviewed the game still think there amazing. Its because they fit the game perfectly, with its grity tone and atmosphere. This is also the game that introduced David Hayter to the gaming world, thank god for that. The gameplay is very good. For its time, if this game came out today im fairly certain it would not get the critical aclaim it got back in 98, but it is still very good. I love this game's story i played this game three times in a row just to relive it again and again just about a week ago and i got this game back when it came out. The only game that i think trumped this games story is Metal Gear Solid 4 and that came out ten years later. Also this game has some of the best boss fights ever. Mine being Pyscho Mantis and Gray Fox(cyborg ninja), and if you don't no why there my favortie, buy the game and you'll find out. The only bad things about this game is that it can be beat bin just under 7 hours with cutscenes or 2 1/2 without. Also i hate that you can't shoot in fps view. But i think thoughs flaws are so minamal that you can't keep this game away from a perfect score. So after your done reading this review go out and buy this game if you haven't already done so in the past ten years. They are curently reselling it in the Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection.Go Play This Game NOW!!! I give Metal Gear Solid a 10 out of 10.
