Metal Gear was the first stealth game ever and it was a succes and it started one of the best game seires and i can tell a little about the game. The story is about Solid Snake(it´s the first MG game so he a rookie)is sent to the enemy fortress Other Haven to prevent the terrorists from lauching the new nuclar weapon called Metal Gear but the terrorist leader in unkown Snake get help from his former commander Jack(A.K.A Naked Snake A.K.A Big Boss). At the start of the game Snake dosént have anything but a pack a cigaretts he has to find the weapons which are somewhere in Other Haven. The gameplay is good it´s was not like any other game you should avoid been seen by the soldiers that´s was new because the other game was only about killing soldiers and your gun was your last resort. However you should also fight some times when you reached a boss and they hard. This game got released in Japan and Europe(when it was relased for the MSX)and then later for the NES in USA. In Japan the game was succes but it dinínt do well in Europe because some of the text was cut hence the game was shooter then the japanese version so the game flopped in Europe but now on the net you can download a translated version of the game and it´s translated from Japanese but where to find it i don´t know. Anyway this is one of the best MSX games ever shame it dosént get released for the mobile all over the world(why are Japan always so lucky?). Now all we can do is to hope that the old Metal Gear games get re-released in USA and Europe and it would be translated dircet from the japanese but untill that stick to the internet.
