Metal Gear!?!? The begining of one of the greatest franchises of all time.

A solid game for the time, but didnt grab much attention. Still a fun game to play even today. The fact that the MSX couldnt hold enough memory to have a multitude of enemies on a single screen spawned one of the greatest games of all time and the stealth genre in general. As for this game, it offered a new style of gameplay instead of the classic shoot-em-ups. Unfortunatly, the transition from the MSX to the NES was not as smooth as could be. Still, the stealth genre is a refreshing style. The MSX version of this game can be played on Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. So if you have that game, may I strongly suggest takeing the time to play this game.
