Tests of an hostile nature are being conducted in a militar facilty known as Outer Heaven. The tests are as follows: the creation of a bipedal nuclear tank known as Metal Gear. In the name of peace the co-ops agent Solid Snake, member of the Fox Hound unit, is sent by Big Boss to destroy the project. Inside Outer Heaven there are prioners who must be freed, amongst them Grey Fox and the creator of Metal Gear (a scientist who's actually being forced to conclude the machine). Solid Snake is about to find out something terrible as the story unfolds... and iformation starts to leak. Who's the traitor? The graphics can't really be taken into account due to the time when Metal Gear was released, the music (not that boring ambient sound) though surprised me. The rythim of it is exciting, I can only imagine what it would be like nowadays. The game is entertaining, although it sometimes lack information, leaving the gamer lost in a relatively big scenario; but that's just a matter of time untill the gamer can finally find out what to do. Prepare for "Operation: Intrude N313"!
